Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on the 22nd of November 1984) Her range of talents in acting has earned her much acclaim in everything from the dramas of the past to suspenseful films and adventures. Johansson, born to a renowned architect, as well as producer, was brought up within New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. When she reached seven years old, her love of acting was growing. Her first audition was for commercials. Following a short period her studies began at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on there was a Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film on screen in North (1994) which was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson subsequently starred as a character in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough was through Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters fleeing. After that, she earned high praise from critics for her performance as an teen girl who suffered an accident that resulted in her being disfigured in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention in Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. She is best known for being the character Nell Jones (on CBS' famous show NCIS Los Angeles). The actress who won an award has been among the principal actors on the show. She's an excellent stage actor. Her performances have been spectacular in plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her journey into the entertainment industry in the early years of her life. She was a performer since she was a child. Smith landed a first role in the age of six with parents' help. Smith was in the Dannon TV commercial. She decided, like the majority of actresses just starting out, to refine her skills in theatre. She also worked in other projects throughout the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first onstage show. She graduated from the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
